Long time no post

Sorry somedays you just feel lame putting a post in your "totally gay online diary" (as Bobby Bracelet would put it) so the reason for the long haul without a post. Last friday played in a charity tournament that unfortunately turned out to be totally -EV. I'll explain...basically the entry fee was 100 bucks with half going to the charity. Ok no big deal. Max was 100 players, so I figure about 5 grand in the prize pool, not too shabby. However....they also had 20 dollar rebuys and an addon of which none went back into the pot. And did I mention only 40 people showed up? UGGGGHHH...No wonder they got the entrance fee before we showed up. Also they paid out top 10 so top prize was a whooping 520 dollars. I busted out after the break when I came back and had pocket tens which I raised and got re-raised and called. I believe the guy had a set of jacks on the flop and tried reeling me in. I wouldn't have any of it and folded but it left me with hardly any chips. I waited for a hand and moved in with A3h I think the guy had QJ and rivered a Jack to send me packing. My buddy Neil won the whole thing so the night was capped with our usual Jag bombs and drunken 3am breakfast meal. Along with it I left many voicemails to all my friends who were either sleeping or too annoyed by my phone calls to answer. (most likely the latter) I do not remember what I said in these voicemails but was reminded of one which was played back to me at my entertainment. I did not recognize the voice in the recording but a lot of what he said was really funny, man that guy is da bomb!

Been trying to play more online but it seems as though I am hitting me head against the wall and unclear of how to play. Like I got TPTK and I fold to reraises because I figure the rock has a set which he does. Even if it is a good read(s) it still sucks as this is totally wrecking the poker portion of my brain. Like why am I calling this raise with AKs...uggggghhh. I have been trying to stay away from MTTs for now as I just cannot get that one time where I pull all the way through. My goal of winning a seat at any tournament is really hanging by a thread when I don't have the balls to play any of them after my 120 dollar venture in Party's WSOP steps failed to get me past round 2 (2-bubbles one early exit). Once I am done clearing the many bonuses I have waiting I will again dive into winning a major MTT. I know it will come together sometime to make me enough to buy a CFL team..lol

This weekend is the NFL Draft and that is the first football event of the year. It is so boring and mundane that we cook awesome food all weekend and have a great time. Prime Rib, Taco dip, many salads and chef special supremes are on the menu this weekend. I also flew in some Dr. Pepper Berries and Cream for the occassion as it is not yet in stores here. To inform those of the uniqueness of a chef special supreme it is a layer of hashbrowns topped with a layer of eggs sunny side up and topped with bacon, sausage, back bacon, ham, green peppers, orange peppers and onions. Basically it can also substitute for an instant heart-attack if necessary as an extraordinary amount of grease is required to keep this dish tasty.

Glad to see Pauly is back and once again found his mojo. You go girl!
